Matt 9:10-13

In this story the offense comes through having dinner with “the wrong crowd.” Sometimes the most instructive actions of Jesus are simply being identified with others. It doesn't seem that he goes out of his way to get noticed, but surely he knew that his actions would be. And when they are he has the right words to match, “Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.”

Could you be accused of hanging with the wrong crowd and what would you say to your accuser?
